As an artist, John Gwinn often creates his paintings in stages. He progresses the shapes and colors as the mood and piece direction him. To help demonstrate this incremental creative process, John has shared four photos of a single painting, entitled “Burning of Norfolk Navy Yard, 1861″.
John Gwinn is presenting a large scale show of his work at Franklin Commons. The show will feature more than 500 of John’s paintings and will include both his abstract and realistic works. The showing is scheduled for Sunday, April 29, 2011.
